On the actual day, our members met up at 8am as we are supposed to report at Sentosa by 9am. It was a Saturday weekend and while many were still asleep, we woke up before 7am so that we will not be late for our first volunteering work together

By 9:45am, the elderly from Metta Association arrived and each of us were tagged to one elderly. Even though most of them had to be in wheelchair, they were all very friendly and we had lots of fun with them. From their expression, we can tell that they were all excited with this trip! One grandma even told us that it's her first time travelling out of her home, she was really nervous and yet excited!

After bringing them around and showing them the SEA Aquarium, we sat down and had lunch with them. We chatted with the elderly and it was really nice to hear their stories. It feels like chatting with our own grandparents.

It was a good and meaningful 4 hours spent with them! And we were so proud that our youngest PFC member that went were only 15 year old and he told us that he wants to volunteer again because he really enjoyed himself and would like to do more meaningful stuff together!
Once again, thank you Direct Life Foundation! PFC will definitely continue to volunteer and help out whenever we can! And I, as the Fan Club President, am proud to say, we are not just a Fan Club, PFC is a Fan Club who will come together to do charity and give back to the society, we are here to spread LOVE! :)
