Joy Truck Episode 6!
In this episode, 30 years old Zhi Ling is a mother of 2 kids aged 7 and 3 respectively.
Zhi Ling's husband (32 yrs old) is a habitual drug addict who has been
on drugs even before they were married, but Zhi Ling only found out
when she was pregnant with her eldest son. Zhi Ling's husband was
working as an odd job worker who had no fixed income and even took money
from Zhi Ling to feed his drug addiction. He has been in and out of
jail for several times and is currently in prison. Zhi Ling and her
children are currently staying in a rented flat. She is barely making
enough for their daily expenses and is currently in debt. Despite their
current situation, Zhi Ling hopes her children can be as happy as
possible.
